is mother's day in Mexico
my mom just came back
to Autlán from New York
so I was able to talk to her
& congratulate her widely
-since my mouth's so wide ;)
she likes to travel!
and she's a great intelligent woman
&
she cannot read these words
because i don't think she knows about this blog
i hope not!
'cause otherwise, & if she read some of the posts
she might want to send me away to a mental institution
at least for a couple of days
or cut me off her inheritance heh heh
some things are better off the hands of your family
anyway
i am thankful to have such a wonderful & beautiful mother
here in this picture from April 2007
and wow!!! my mother became 60 this year
and she still looks great!
like a Rock-Star!

Yes, she does look great. I understand why you feel safe if she doesn't read this blog. hehe :-) I was about to call to my mother after I talked Ana and she told me about the mother's day on Thurs. Then Alex remind me that it was mother's day in Mexico, not here. then I remember it is different in mexico. Is it so in all Latin countries? In Japan mother's day is like here, I think 13th??

& lisa i hope you get to talk to my mom! yeah i think in USA the move mother's day around so it matches with a Sunday... in Mexico is always the 10th of May, regardless on the day of the week & don't know maybe 'cause i grew up that way, but I like it better... I feel american just move it around in the calendar to their convenience, we can't do that with dates... well obviously you can heh heh, i have to give credit though, that is much more practical to do it on a Sunday, yet...
