The 1st SD Festival of Books
was a little great event! Lots of authors, local independent bookstores
and I scored these lovely books! I wish I had more time to talk to
local authors. But I already volunteered for Mercy for Animals 4 hours
before I got to look around.
But I did meet Drew
Andrews at the Verbatim booth. He signed his first novel (horror short
tales) for me, I was gone by the time I read on his book that he is a
local musician who has played with The Album Leaf and other bands.

Vegan recipes books with Morrissey and Nick Cave are funny, recipes are

Also I volunteered with Mercy for Animals! We did Paid-Per-View video viewing.
Where we pay people $1 to watch a video on Factory Farming and how Animals suffer and are killed for food :( I do hope more people become vegan after watching the video, many are shocked!
It was a great Saturday in San Diego!
