43

4/14 yes 43!
celebrated my birthday today
a lovely peaceful lazy day
latte and breakfast burrito in the morning
many wonderful phone calls, family & friends
a twisty moody weather day, but pretty
at the end...
the sun showed for a little through fluffy clouds
to say hello, so the day was complete
fine fine and thankful to make it to this day
can't wait for many more to come

i am just saying... [smile smile]

fluffy cloud and song

all morning mild rain fell from the sky,
– today
the snails came out to play,
they walked the sidewalks,
bathed again

a little song started to play:
Some songs feel like butter
Some songs sound like cake

later, the sun came out,
scared the snails
and the rain away

but a big fluffy cloud blew
on its yellow face!

and the sun sadly said:
Cry me a river
So I can float over to you
The bearer to deliver the news
I'm over the moon
And underfoot
All these elixirs would be moot

now it is the night
the snails are gone
the sun, and the cloud, también
the little song has finished, oh!

now, is all, again, the same

'Cause if we knew where we belong.
There'd be no doubt where we're from.
But as it stands, we don't have a clue.
Especially me and probably you.

Monday's lively clouds

hola dear blog
i haven't written on you for so long
a lot has happened,
but yet nothing really at all...
i went to L.A., back & forth
i worked, i rested
i inhaled, and exhaled,
i did both

and here another Monday on a calendar
the pages of time come & go
as my little life seems to float on
nights, and days,
lunches, dinners,
walking, sleeping, smiling, crying, and so on

but these lovely clouds
fidgety at their best
as time, they don't stop
but i capture them with the camera 'cause

Monday morning clouds, oh so why not?

explosions in the sky

we've been having pretty strange weather in San Diego
Monday we broke record heat, it was 95°F (35°C) inside my house!!
the poor Gatos and myself were melting...
Tuesday was a little cooler
Wednesday the humidity started gathering in the shape
of wonderful fluffy clouds!!
reminiscent of a wonderful band
Explosions in the Sky

here a sample of their wonderful cinematic music
click on the name to listen to the mp3 on their site
song: Your Hand in Mine
from their 2003 album: "The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place"

i took these photos as i was leaving the office

[click on the photo to see the full size panorama]

today Thursday, we've been having a show off of
thunderstorms and erratic rain
wonder what's in for tomorrow...
Antonio Vivaldi would be happy here this week
4 seasons, one every day of the week

Lens flares are currently a visual cliche and are often added to images digitally. When you don't want lens flares, use a sunshade on your lens and watch out for light sources in your camera's field of view.

la nube, die Wolke, las mujeres, die Frauen, the women

today is the international women's day
and to celebrate i chose these pictures
of a female entity, a cloud

well, in Spanish and German, a cloud
is a female entity
La nube, die Wolke
i guess in English is neutral
but it is not only about articles and genders
but about clouds female nature
clouds just like women
are round, soft, fluffy, cheerful
and they make you smile, most of the time

and just like women too
they can be menacing, and dark
and when they are angry or sad
they discharge tears, and loud thunders

i suffer a lot of womanly maladies
hormonal migraines, strong PMS
moodiness, and sensitivity
and my life has gone totally gray
over a homeless cat
yet, i am thankful to life
for having created me a woman
i love to be cheerful and sensitive
and also to be sad and cry plenty at times

celebrate, not only today, but always
the women in your life!
too celebrate those lovely fluffy clouds
