It droppeth, as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath: it is twice bless'd;
It blesseth him that gives, and him that takes..."
The Merchant Of Venice Act 4, scene 1, 180–187
-William Shakespeare
and these his words
written about four hundreds years ago
make scintillate my soul
since the beauty they convey
is not only about the artistry of the English word
they are deeper,
they reach my core
if we all could be a bit merciful
then the enemies would turn into love
William Shakespeare, 1564 - 1616

I love it!
ah dear ground control
your cool comment suits me down to the ground, nice! & gracias
'Mercy' we are all human; to err is human! Shakespeare felt the pulse of humanity so many hundred years ago - a true maestro!
And she reads Shakespeare! :oD Apt quote for this time of year, Berenice. Hope you are in for a very Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow! Don't let any turkey escape your dining table! :o)

hi dear ID and dear mister Smorg
i hope you both had a lovely Thanksgiving too, it's probably my favorite American Holiday, it started with the love of food, but then i became a fan of the Thankfulness people share these days
sure i am thankful to have online friends like you, and like mister Al up there too
i hope you had a day full of the warmth of friends and family... and mister Smorg, sure i got to eat some nice turkey! it almost escaped my way but i managed to eat some... i feel there not a true Thanksgiving without eating some turkey, huh?
also i made cranberry sauce and have plenty left, so i plan to eat it like jam this week :)
take care and glad you enjoyed the Shakespeare quote... and dear ID, yeah to err is human indeed, and without human faults then we wouldn't be able to practice some of the human virtues like Mercy, eh?
take care and enjoy!
