Ah, to be your cats! It's a charmed life, my friend. :oD

I met a new cat this morning. A lean white cat with bits of orange and black spots on her head. Really friendly. I was chatting with an old neighbor in the alley and this cat came walking by, looked at us and meowed her hello, so I crouched down and said hi and she came right over and hung out for a while. She almost got hit by a car a bit later, though. Was stalking a couple of sparrows from behind a bush and went for them just as a car came driving through. Gave me and the neighbor quite a freight. :oP

Anyhow! Looks like we're in for a lovely Memorial Day weekend. :o) Hope you & los gatos are having a good May! (I'm out riding in the eastern mountains. It's gonna be grand!). :o)

awww mister Smorg so you made a new friend! How nice! Remember when the Gatos were outdoors? They were always scaring me to death! Now they live peacefully [bored-ly?] indoors... Your cat friend sounds so nice!

and yes! it was indeed a nice Memorial Day weekend, I got to go for a walk to El Presidio park, such a lovely place and to two restaurants, maybe you would like to try them?

The Loving Hut, I am always there 'cause it's vegan, tasty, cheap, and very close to home

and to a 'new' one, at least for me, Plumeria in University Heights, Plumeria is Thai food but only vegan or veggie, is really fresh, great quality Thai food, I was pleasantly surprised, also surprised by the affordability!

give them a try mister Smorg, and hey! maybe you want to adopt that orange with black spot on the head kitty?
