Hallo Berenice,

Glad to hear you like it. Here it is broadcasted under the name "Inspector Barnaby".

Maybe you remember, I wrote about them (TY crime series) and compared these shows to those made in the USA.

I especially liked Troy, the chap who drove so badly and had this clumsy way of walking.

Glad to hear you have them.

yeah yeah yeah herr Georg, i remembered the name sounded familiar when i started watching and i wondered if it was one of the shows you blogged about, i thought of checking your post again, but now you've dissipated the doubt, and yes! it's a funny/good show, sadly they don't show it 'regularly' here, they don't have a time of the week when it broadcasts, it's more like a part of the Mystery! series from the American Public Television, PBS which is pretty much the only TV station here that is truly worth watching

are you familiar with the Agatha Christie Miss Marple series? these are great too!

and of course I follow the Sherlock Holmes series too
