today is my birthday
hoy es mi cumpleaños
and i know strange vibes been around
my life for the past days
but yet i wake up today
and i am thankful for being alive!
for having lived 39 years already
even if it doesn't really feel like 39...
i am thankful for having friends and family
for being alive
for having a very little house
a very little car and a job
also i have a very little but lovely red pet
all in my life is barely there and nothing is too big
not so flashing
all is modest but i am OK with what i have
and i am sure the ones that remember me
wish me well,
i might be remembered even
in other continents! eh! ahh!
so even with a broken camera
i do have a lot to be thankful for...
and yes! i make a lot of mistakes
but life is to live and to learn
so i hope i am growing personally every day
and ... yeah strange to be 39
but ready to keep on living
and bring on the next 39!

I wish I was better to remember these occasions.
With the pass of the years, the number of people truthfully close to me has been diluting into a one digit number. Years have made me wiser, more selective and certainly more real. And that criteria is the one to blame on my friends accountability. But the funny part, is that the few I have, are precisely, strong exponents of that same criteria.
Today is the birthday of one of them, mi querida Bere bere, to whom I wish simply the best that this world can give to her. She's such a noble, light spirited, talented smart pretty person trapped inside the body of a beautiful girl that deserves the same love and good vibes as the one she gives to everybody around her.

oh betiur and know that i have the same feeling when it comes to friends as you do, not as many nor frequent are the parties or the millions of acquaintances these days as they were before, but somehow older and more mature relationships are the ones that still are around, and yes might be we are more selective and we realize the importance of our time and how to share it, but also i feel is the comfort of the known and friendly face of a friend that has been there in good moments and also in the bad ones... and so glad that destiny allowed us to keep still in touch! life is wise and knows, who to leave on your path
and that's why today i feel lucky to be able to be in touch with dear people like you! i think i still remember the 1st time i saw you... you seated very "fresa" with "la momis" in "el corporativo" office and after introductions, etc. i remember glancing a copy of Soundgarden's Bad Motorfinger
ha ha, i think that's when this lovely friendship started! :)
