Wired magazined published the wishlist 2010
plenty of neat items
i already want item #1 of their list!
this lovely Hario V60 Buono Kettle
stylish, so pretty!
but i already have a kettle, so i won't buy it
nor request it
but i like the wishlist idea
i will keep on adding items from here to December
that i wish i had, but chances are i won't get
as gifts, nor i will buy
so they will always be that: wishes...
for once i will be unlike most Americans
i will wish, but not attempt to posses
only on the blog as pictures
very much like the lovely blog of our german lady friend
Geisslein, who updates every day her blog
with lovely images, stylish rooms, and products

Hey, that's a cool idea, Bere. Like virtual window shopping. My mom likes to do it in real life, but I was allergic to malls (had to always tag along to carry stuff she did end up buying, though). :o)
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Happy Turkey Day tomorrow!!
Smorgy :oD (is looking forward to smorging up all sort of fowl stuff at the feast)
hola mister Smorg!! sooo nice to hear from you!
hey!! guess what? i am allergic to malls too, even when i was younger, i never liked the frenetic shopping this black Friday i plan to stay home with Le Chats and do more of nothing
and Happy Thanksgiving to you too mister Smorg!! enjoy very much the little dead bird :(( or big? ;)
I go for Thanksgiving with a couple of friends and i am in charge of making the cranberry sauce, i love it!
and i will keep on collecting items for us to view, but not to buy ;) virtual satisfaction will have to suffice this year, huh?
happy Thanksgiving mister Smorg, and thank YOU for being my online friend for a while now
hey! my mom will be here most of December, maybe we'll finally meet you for some food or tunes at the Copley!
Hola Berenice,
The kettle looks good though a bit strange to me. Our continental European kettles are differently shaped. Our's has a different spout that whistles when the water starts boiling.
But what is this green sticky stuff dripping down like in a horror movie??
Georg
hola Herr Georg, ha ha on your horror movie green dripping stuff, i guess looks like that when you haven't seen their whole, Wired Magazine, list of photos, they gooey stuff is supposed to be "caramel" is of a different color on each product, i guess caramel 'cause it's so sweet and desirable
our Kettles here in the USA and Mexico are similar to yours too! with a fat short neck and whistling devices, next i will post a photo of my kettle...
but as i read another article on this fashionable tea and coffee kettle, the long skinny serving neck resembles that one of old British Tea Pots, and the goal of it is to pour the hot water SLOWLY!! i personally make coffee with one of those cups that you add a paper filter so for me the slow pouring is a must!! so i can see why this kettle is shaped like that, to make water go slowly for the manual users, that's why i liked it so much... so as you can see this 'advanced' design is actually based on much older fashion styles, and i personally like that

this is similar to the plastic cup i use, the slower you pour water, the better the coffee is

thanks for your comment Herr Georg!
Bonjour Berenice,
If I may give you my not asked for idea about coffee drinking: don't use a plastic or paper cup if you can help it.
Use a cup made of China (porcelain).
A cup that gives a ring like a bell when you kick it lightly.
Maybe you know the TV show NCIS with Gibbs and Abby. Well these people are always running around with those enormous paper cups. To me this is USA. Even offering the stuff to each other as a token of friendship or so. Absolutely unknown over here.
Now I have a look at the link you gave me.
Georg
