some kitchen scenes

Montag Mittagessen
Monday's Lunch
el almuerzo del lunes



a traditional
turkey breast, jack pepper w/peppers cheese
red lettuce and spinach mix
over multi grain sliced bread
mustard added

and the whole Lunch set
some greek style fat free yogurt (mmm, creamy!)
and 10 organic strawberries



pretty spoiled...

and some of the room where it all

Hallo Bere,

Your Mittagessen looks just great, makes me hungry.

So you don't eat hot at noon like most French do over here.

And in the evening? What is on the menu??

yes, not every day I have hot food for Mittagessen, but some days yes, I have to eat my lunch at work, and I prefer to carry my own than to buy food from the restaurants around, that are either fast food or in general more expensive and less healthy food

and actually the little envelope you see there, with asian signs, i an instant soup, corn soup that you mix with hot water...

sandwiches can be very healthy and easy to carry, i looove the endless combos of sandwich you can make... and sometimes i carry salads too

i also keep bread at the office and peanut butter, butter and jams or mermelades, one from France I love is Bon Mama brand

and some times I eat soups either home-made or from can or frozen that I re-heat in the microwave there

but, yes! it's a challenge to try to eat healthy and warm away from home every day :)

at night, yes! i go for warmer stuff, like spaghetti with turkey and basil and tomato sauce... or rice with vegetables and sometimes a little piece of meat, or warm sandwiches again

and well 1 beer or a glass of wine and much tea! during the whole day

it's hard to keep a balance with so much deliciouness out there!
