Hi, it's me.

Looks like the plant we call here "fukucia". It's always nice to see the blue, clear sky, isn't it?

Did you take this movie yourself?

hi masanobu (hey does your name mean something?

i am not sure of the name of the little flowers, they are actually on my neighbor's side of the fence, but they 'jump' to my side, i will ask him and find out the american name, the flowers are little and red and they are preferred by humming-birds :)

and yes, i made the little movie myself...

bereweber,

>> hey does your name mean something? <<

Oh, yeah. "Masa" means elegance, and "nobu" means "to speak out" or "spread words." So, I am supposed to talk to you with elegance. Am I doing this?

What does "bereweber" mean, by the way?

hi masanobu!

i am back! :) oh what a lovely meaning for your name... and yes you speak with elegance indeed, so you are fulfilling the duties of the name, i took a quick peek at your blog, oh very interesting, can't wait to have a bit more of free time to catch up with reading around

and well my name is not much mystery, as my first name is berenice, the short is bere, and other one is my last name, so not very creative there

but as Georg helped me investigate, my name Berenice actually comes from the Greek Berenike meaning "victory bringer"

it seems, both our names, carry a lot of responsibilities with them :)

bere,

Thanks for the answer. Yes, we seem to have heavy responsibility, especially on the net.

I didn't realize until recently that your name "bereweber" consists of two parts. Are you a German-Mexican?

hi masanobu

here i am again ;)
and well, my grandfather, my father's father was German indeed! hence the last name. My grandfather moved to Mexico during the war and married my grandmother in Hidalgo, Mexico, both my mother's parents are born in Mexico, so i guess that makes 3/4 mexican and 1/4 german :D, but believe me, i feel about 200% mexican ;) heh heh

what about you? from where in Japan are you?

bere,

>>what about you? from where in Japan are you? <<

I was born and raised in Tokyo. But my grandfather was from Hyogo and grandmother Toyama. This makes me 100% Japanese. ha ha ha...
