pizza

last night i dreamed of...
pizza!...

oh i am dying for a nice thick warm
slice of...

pizza!

ahhh but i cannot open my mouth over a centimeter
i cannot chew anything yet, my left cheek is very swollen
and certainly cannot eat too much fat or spicy foods
even less pizza
after this oral surgery

but i would give away my "kingdom of nothingness" for a nice
warm, crunchy, delicious piece of

pizza!

Ray Bradbury's Recipe For Liquid Pizza

Ingredients:
1 can Campbell's Tomato Soup
1 lb. soda crackers
Salt
1 quart milk
1 pint half-and-half

Instructions:

Pour can of soup into a large pot.
Add milk instead of water as instructed on the can. Begin to heat soup.

As soup warms to a boil, add 1/4 lb. of crumbled soda crackers.
Add a little half-and-half as you stir (don't overdo the stirring).
When the soup is ready to serve, there should be a thick crust on the top and you should be able to stand a spoon up in it.

Make a furrow down the middle with your spoon. Do the sides cave in immediately? If so, add more crackers.

Ray's Liquid Pizza is now ready to eat! As you eat, feel free to add more halfand- half to taste.

This recipe originally appeared in The Vegetarian Times. It doesn't sound appealing to us, but Ray Bradbury claims to have enjoyed this recipe for decades.

ha ha! beto
"excellent" as mister Burns would say, rubbing fingers together and all

this recipe sounds like a good science-fiction liquid pizza from the future... just mister Ray Bradbury could have come out with it

i surely will get the ingredients tomorrow and let you know how it went

also... be prepared to receive your kingdom of nothingness from San Diego, ha ha

thank you beto! this comment really made me laugh! great :)
