Jan Svankmajer

when i saw the version of
Alice in Wonderland
by Jan Svankmajer
i knew his world of animation
had to be a very surreal one
of course my favorite character
has to be the White Rabbit
here the scene of how he came to life

and
i found tonight
this little weird animation too
tma/svetlo/tma
(darkness/light/darkness)
from 1989!

Wow!! This one is sooo great! I love it! Lovely desinged and animated..and not to speak of this tiny little house with the old double faced windows :)) Some years I ago I was with my Ex-Boyfriend at an exhibition on animation films in Zürich. It was so amazing, we sat for hours and hours and watched every single film. I think, these guys took part in the exhibition as well. Will send you the link when I step over it! Many warm hearty greetings from freezing Berlin. Do you have an Facebook profile, by the way? We could link if you want..

Awesome! Once again, Major Tom is in tune... I remember watching it for the first time many years ago at channel 11 one saturday morning... I was so amazed by the animation and it's vibe, so obscure... Fortunately for me, "my" dvd rental shop has all their films...
Also, he appeared in an an animation short showcasing several of the greatest from around the 'big blue marble' long time ago at MTV's Liquid Television...

Vientox!
