I have only read Haruki's Kafka on the shore. Who doesnt love talking cats? :) Well, actually....many. He's definitely not for all readers. Hope to read more of his work.
hola SSQuo am glad you stopped around here, & yes I've read great reviews of that Murakami book, but I had no idea is about talking cats, now I am even more curious! thanks for the tip... I will add it to my reading list
I have read a couple of Muralkkami's books by now, and I find them all interesting and compelling, I really like his strange style. I read a collection of stories called Under the Quake and a very quirky novel called A Wild Sheep Chase http://www.exorcising-ghosts.co.uk/wildsheepchase.html
I personally loooved the book, but as you wrote, his books are not for everybody's taste
