Halloween nights: Suspiria

a classic American Holiday
is here
Halloween weekend!

to celebrate
i will make a list of good horror films
the 'cult' ones...

1st of the list

Suspiria
year 1977 and directed by Dario Argento

a color and unusual views masterpiece!
surreal colors, strange visuals and sounds
an acid trip from the late '70's

a young ballet American dancer
goes to a ballet academy
in Germany, where very strange things
happen to her

the use of color on the film is great!
and the movie is really scary
good to watch on Halloween

and the trailer

suspiria!! jaja! another one in my current collection... the band doing the soundtrack is 'goblin'... they did a lot of argento's music for films... they are a mix between univers zero and popol vuh (german band who did soundtracks for herzog/kinsky's movies)...

and another trivia from suspiria: miguel bose is there!

yeah!!! hi betiur!
i should've known you knew about this movie!! since you are the king of darkness heh heh, in taste, just in taste heh heh

oh i've heard the name goblin but i have not listened to their stuff! i will look them up soon... nice that they did Herzog's music wow!!!

and yes, mister Bose in his younger years was there...

i can't believe i used to not like him, i mean his music is not the greatest, huh? but these days, maybe 'cause i am older ha! i appreciate some of the Bose stuff, like his acting, etc. etc. etc. i guess it takes to be almost 40-year-old woman to appreciate him ha ha

great that you have this film beto, i have to rent it to re-watch...
