Del Mar Race Track is Death Track
Horse racing is a terrible and cruel industry.
Read the real story:
Horses used for racing weigh more than 1,000 pounds, yet they are supported by ankles the size of a human’s. In the U.S., horses are whipped and forced to run on tracks made of hard-packed dirt at speeds of more than 30 miles per hour while carrying people on their backs. They are pumped full of drugs intended to mask pain so that they keep running long after their stressed or injured bodies would tell them to stop. They are bought and sold to the highest bidder numerous times and carted from coast to coast, and half of them are eventually abandoned to slaughterhouses.

This past Sunday 3 activists and myself went to
#DelMarRaceTrack to educate people
on the cruelty of this industry.
14 Horses Dead at Del Mar in 33 days of racing,
it was so hot there but the horses don't get a day off,
they run under the influence of drugs, beaten.
How is this a sport?
We have as many protests and outreach through
the racing season. Do you want to help?
Share the information on the cruelty of horse racing.
And do NOT participate on any events that involve
animal cruelty or using animals for entertainment!

Animals used for entertainment
As my mom's friend said:
I've taken to the streets! To speak for animal abuse.
Most of these protests were against animals used for entertainment.
Circuses, zoos, aquariums, dog fighting, hunting, fishing, horse racing, bullfighting… all of these practices keep animals in captivity and use them against their will for human entertainment. People take part, considering them fun, entertaining, artistic or cultural, but none justify the forcing of animals into confinement, to suffer and die, for our benefit.
