Cinco de Mayo Vegan Outreach
Vegan Outreach at the Cinco De Mayo Celebration
in Old Town San Diego with
Nancy Calzadilla Wheeler and Richard Wheeler,
people were very receptive to the materials,
Fresh from Mercy For Animals leaflets and
¿Porqué Vegetariano? from Vegan Outreach,
a great day for speaking in behalf of the animals!
Nancy added the numbers: we distributed
1,048 pieces of pro-veg literature,
including 400 of the Porque Vegetariano Brochure,
530 of the new FRESH Brochure and the rest included
the Vegetarian Starter Guide and the
MFA Compassionate Living Magazine.

one of the things that we do every day, our food!
It is eye-opening, provoking and
sometimes VERY FUNNY too!
It is a great exercise to stop and
reevaluate your life & society,
the daily things we take for granted as OK,
remember it was OK not long ago to own another person,
it was OK for women not to vote,
STOP for a little and try to see "from the outside"
the way you live your life everyday,
what you eat, what you wear, what you say, what you think
& then think again, watch this film,

I despise Santa Ana Winds!
high heat & low humidity, is a recipe for disaster!
Even in literature is documented,
and old Mexicans living in SoCal call it Diablo Wind,
the wind of the devil!

eggs are:
NOT HEALTHY
NOT NUTRITIOUS
NOT SAFE
all this according to the FDA,
the FDA has forbidden the egg industry
to include any of these words on egg cartons:
Healthy, nutritious, and safe...
it takes 3.25 pounds of grain and
51 gallons of water to produce 1 2-ounce egg!
It is crazy the devastation to the environment
and the amount of suffering the hens go through,
to produce a food that is so unhealthy!
