Sketches from New Brighton

Jiro dreams of sushi

very lovely film, not to be missed!
and this documentary is not only about
the seemly delicious sushi that Jiro cooks,
but about his attitude toward work and life,
that makes this documentary and splendid piece

The Big Broadcast - 9/16/2012

WFUV Media Player The Big Broadcast - 9/16/2012

Frau Kitty listens

Herr Gato listens

they both listen to old music!

the new possum

tonight i saw a possum at my newer home
for the very first time, there he went
crossing the patio, quiet, stealth

i remember the very first time i saw one
i was petrified
now, i like them...

it was a warm sign to see one tonight

of course i was alerted, not so quietly
by Herr Gato, meowing by the window

loud

'an old friend!?' he thought, 'perhaps...'
'good old possums,' he meowed!
'like those we met, ... back in Normal Heights'

Sunday walkies

Sunday walkies
Sonntag spazieren
caminata de Domingo

these two are funny because they are cellphone pictures not iPhone or fancy phone, just regular very old phonesito

Dead Can Dance

thank you Dead Can Dance for a wonderful evening
last night at Humphreys by the Bay, your music is magic!

I saw you at the same venue in 2005,
and I thought such an amazing experience will never repeat and it did,
thank you!!

I truly enjoyed the new album pieces, and the beloved old tunes.
The Arab song from Andalucía, Spain,

and the "roughly translated as I am a Junkie" were a delight too,
we love you in San Diego, please keep coming back!!
