Dusting off my old records,
yeah, probably my favorite The Beatles album
Revolver... it was 1966, I wasn't born yet
but this album goes straight to my heart
Did you know?
3 out of 4 Beatles are vegetarian (vegan?)
and Paul McCartney is a long-time activist for PETA
he narrated the video Glass Walls
based on the quote:
"If slaughterhouses had glass walls,
everyone would be a vegetarian (vegan, ideally)."
Get on the right fair side of history:
Don't eat or use animals.

I, Chicken and Vegan Outreach at Balboa Park
Today was a great day! #VeganOutreach #IChicken #PETA #BalboaPark
I got to work with my dear friend Ellen for the animals
we leafleted hundreds of materials
Vegan Outreach Compassionate Choices,
Vegan Starter Kits from PETA
Truth or Drought leaflets (which I proudly designed)
SeaWorld information (anti-captivity anti-SeaWorld)
and FARM's You Have Been Lied To (please read these leaflets the have the most complete information on all the natural resources used for every animal we eat, it is very eye-opening to see this!)
People were kind and receptive today!
At the park were also our friends from PETA
with the exhibit "I, Chicken"
a fantastic virtual reality experience and lets you
see how chickens are taken from an open field
into a cage, and eventually a conveyor where
they will be killed.
The video is cartoon-like and is not gory at all,
there is no blood or violent images, so it's apt for children.
PETA did a great job, read more about it.

I do love animals, a protest against bacon
last Saturday I went to my very first protest
I joined some animal lovers and vegan friends from PETA
We went to protest against this International Bacon Festival
Now, that I more conscientious of animal issues
that I have been vegan for a longer period of time
I thought I could do a bit more than just stop eating animals
I think I can try to help friends, family and others
to understand the tremendous pain that animals suffer
when living in farming factories and when slaughtered brutally
I got to meet some really nice vegan people (see below)
and I will surely meet them again when I can join to protest
the atrocity that is going on in our planet.
