March Against Extinction

I am thankful to have helped with the design
for the March Against Extinction in Los Angeles for 2015.
Dedicated activists and friends Brenda Calvillo and Ellen Ericksen
organized the march this year. I wasn't able to attend but
I volunteered by designing the banner design and poster.
Please check this list of animals who are:
endangered, threatened, and vulnerable status.
Write letters to your representatives.
Educate people on how eating farmed animals puts
wild animals on verge of extinction.

Foster Orphan Elephants and Rhinos

It's been a year since I started fostering
Elephant orphan SHUKURU and
Rhino orphan SOLIO,

Please read more on SOLIO's story
and her friend Maxwell the blind rhino
is really something else!

It is great to received news from
The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust monthly about their lives,
Please consider fostering a rhino or elephant,
they are beautiful animals on the verge of extinction.
This trust does a wonderful work!

Take Extinction Off Your Plate

Taken from: http://www.takeextinctionoffyourplate.com/
"Meat production is one of the main drivers of environmental degradation globally, and the crisis is rapidly growing worse. Production of beef, poultry, pork and other meats tripled between 1980 and 2010 and will likely double again by 2020. This ever-increasing meat consumption in a world of more than 7 billion people is already taking a staggering toll on wildlife, habitat, water resources, air quality and the climate. And Americans eat more meat per capita than almost anyone else. By eating less or no meat, we can take extinction off our plates and improve our own health along with the health of the planet."
