grand canyon gaze
exchanging glances
busy humans
crossing endlessly
our busy daily paths
quick looks, peeks
and untouched souls
going inside blind
but the little trunk
of fine surprises of life
yields now & then
a heaven of peace
a soulful unexpected deep stare
torn from straight from nature
to the center of one’s heart
the grand canyon in arizona
settled peace and beauty
in this old heart of mine
and if i ever grow again
fearful, always those dark nights
i will hold close to my memory
this his magnificent glance

hermann hesse
Hermann Hesse hätte heute Geburtstag
am zweiten Juli
today was Hermann Hesse's birthday
Demian, Narcissus and Goldmund
and so many of his other words
filled my adolescence of magical nostalgia
his words, still crawl now & then
to my soul
i have never read this poem before
but it was the only one i found
translated in German and English
on this www
praying that the gods of literature
keep on sending us geniuses who
with words, are able to cure this
irremediable, intriguing and very
beautiful feeling that is this one'
of existence
ah! but the poem, right?
Wie sind die Tage...
Wie sind die Tage schwer!
An keinem Feuer kann ich erwarmen,
Keine Sonne lacht mir mehr,
Ist alles leer,
Ist alles kalt und ohne Erbarmen,
Und auch die lieben klaren
Sterne schauen mich trostlos an,
Seit ich im Herzen erfahren,
Dass Liebe sterben kann.
How heavy the days
How heavy the days are.
There's not a fire that can warm me,
Not a sun to laugh with me,
Everything bare,
Everything cold and merciless,
And even the beloved, clear
Starts look desolately down,
Since I learned in my heart that
Love can die.

of walkies and the sky
today i went for a little walk
i drove straight home after work
changed shoes and grabbed my little camera
and breathed outside!
the summer time makes
the evenings lighter
and smiling-to-pedestrians
windows make you want to
walk more
and then somebody told me
to 'google' 'google sky
but that he wasn't sure if such a thing
existed or maybe was just a dream?
naively enough, as to google my friend's dreams
i gladly realized that there such a thing as
google sky
but also there is a
google moon
[in case you need to get
driving directions to stuck up on cheese]
and not to mention
psychedelic-looking
google mars
apparently
there are no google-frontiers
